Title: Junior Investor Relations Officer (JIRO)

Job Description

The JIRO is a representative of the Investor Relations Department. He/she has direct contact with investors in the funds, is expected to provide exceptional customer service, perform investor (shareholder) record keeping, and accurately report investor information to all fund related parties that fall within the scope of his/her responsibilities.

The JIRO reports directly to the Senior Investor Relations Officer.

Full on the job training will be provided.


  • Booking, processing, reviewing subscriptions, redemptions, transfers, and all investor trade related transactions in accordance with company procedures
  • Prepare trade packages and make sure all required compliance documents are on file and have been completed correctly and in full
  • Send out trade acknowledgements and investor contract notes
  • Send out monthly NAV statements
  • Run diagnostic checks and properly handle any warning/notices produced by PFS
  • Reconcile differences on NAV or shares in cooperation with Accounting Dept
  • Liaise with auditors of the Fund
  • Distribution of Offering Memorandum, subscription documents, annual financial statements, and any other fund/investor related information as requested
  • Preparing wire payments for redemption, dividend and distributions
  • Review incoming SWIFT wires related to subscription requests to ensure compliance with company policy
  • Handle client calls in response to written inquiries, and/or inquiries received over the phone with respect to investor transactions or account information
  • Respond to investor inquiries with respect to subscription and redemption notices, deadlines, and procedures specific to each fund
  • Inform Investment Managers of incoming trades (subscriptions, redemptions, transfers and switches)
  • Request the necessary due diligence documentation as per Compliance procedures in place
  • Following ongoing Due Diligence procedures to ensure compliance of underlying investors and all transactions at all times
  • Track pending and unresolved requests for resolution purposes
  • Provide exceptional customer service

Job requirements

Minimum Education: Bachelor’s Degree – Business.
